How Did I (02)

I created this layout using scraps of patterned paper and unused tags. I have tons of tags and I needed to start using them more.

1. I first painted on the cardstock using yellow acrylic paint and a sponge. After the paint dried, I stamped on it.

2. Next, I printed my photo on patterned paper. I chose a grid pattern from Fancy Pants. It gave the pictures a totally different look. Textured and sort of aged. I liked it.

2. After that, I layered 2 circle rub-ons to create a journaling spot. I added more rub-ons on the rest of the page. A few embellishments, chipboard letters for the title, and I was done!

Thanks for sharing Iris! It is a beautiful layout with the wonderful details that is so much of your signature style!

I love the sponge/paint effect on cardstock...it is definitely more controlled than misting (which I'm still trying to get better at ;).
