Feature: Little Yellow Bicycle

The Clothesline collection of Little Yellow Bicycle is packed with beautiful papers, overlays, stickers, fabric embellishments, chipboard shapes, rub-ons, etc! I was amazed at how one collection could have such a wide range of products under it. Well, Little Yellow Bicycle has really been know to have one of the most complete line of products. There is almost nothing else you will need.

This layout features the "Clothesline" collection of Little Yellow Bicycle. Everything is from that line except for the white cardstock, the bird bath stamp, and the ruffled ribbon.

 

This next layout features the brand new line "Boardwalk"! Perfect for your summer and beach photos. It went so well also with this picture of my daughter with Dora the Explorer (pirate). Again, everything is from the Boardwalk line except for the white cardstock and the text rub-ons (Lily Bee).

Thank you Little Yellow Bicycle for all the beautiful products!! I have a few more pages coming up for these two collections. Then there are two more collections ("Pack Your Bags" and "Free Spirit") which I will work on soon. After which... of course comes the blog give-away! Watch out for that.

The Color Room - Palette # 12

Palette #12 is up at The Color Room. This palette is very rich and dramatic. A bit scary for me to work on at first but I loved the end result.

Some fun stuff...

Hi! It's my turn to share a simple tutorial over at the Paper Tree House. I love to add color to my scrapbook pages and I find that altering patterned paper with the use of distress inks is a great way to make colorful embellishments for your pages. If you are not familiar with distress inks, I would like to invite you to check out the simple tutorial I have over at the site.

Next one is a layout I made for Lily Bee with a cute stamped image from Penny Black. You would know by now that I am already seriously addicted to copic markers! So fun to use!

Ok got to go now. I'm still stealing computer time from my husband. I hope to get my computer fixed really soon.

Some layouts to share

I have not been on-line lately because I think my desktop caught a virus again. I can't get internet access cause my USB adaptor is not being recognized by my computer for some reason!! I hope I get this sorted out soon. For now, I'm stealing some computer time using my husband's laptop.

Hello Sunshine... Hello COPIC!!

I told myself before a hundred times NO! I had several coloring materials like Twinkling H20s, watercolor pencils, waterbased markers, smooch inks etc etc. I said to myself I have no need for these Copic markers... well that was until after several visits to the blogs of scrappers like Jennifer Maguire, Sherrie Siemens, and a new found friend Maria Therese. Top that off with a demo from a friend and fellow Pinay scrapper Alby Laran.. and I got hooked. I literally could not rest well until I got my own set of copic markers!!

I am a beginner at copic coloring still but I am happy and proud to share my very first layout using Copic Sketch Markers.

The papers and rub-ons are from Lily Bee Designs' Hello Sunshine and Lovely Collection, the texture stamps are from Tim Holtz Stamper's Anonymous, the Bee stamp is from Penny Black, and the cute little girl is from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop.

The dialogue...

It's the first day of big school for my eldest daughter Nicole. She is five and now goes to Kinder 2 in ICA. I don't know what happened over the summer but from a shy student at Twinkle Star Pre-School, she is now this bubbly and talkative little girl!

This is the dialogue between her and her teacher (in-front of the entire class and parents of the students) earlier today.

Teacher Katz: Now we will talk about ourselves and our school, and after that we will have our snacks, rest for a little while, then we will play outside!

Nicole (eyes lit up because she heard the word "play"): But why do we have to rest after eating?

Teacher Katz: Because our tummy will be full and if we don't rest before we play we might get a tummy ache...

Nicole: But I don't get full after I eat..

Teacher Katz: Ok, later I will talk to your tummy and ask it if it is full or not ok?

Nicole: teacher... my tummy does not talk!!

hehehe... what a character!

Prima Class - Manila

Hi! To all the participants of the Prima Class, I'll see you on June 12, Saturday at 9 a.m - Lasting Impression Store, for the last class in our Prima Classes series 1. I'm pretty excited about our session on Saturday cause this is my favorite of all the three classes. At the end of the day, you will have one layout and one muse to take home and display in your scrap room. We will paint, cut, collage, distress, emboss, ink, and melt stuff!! We will play with gesso, UTEE, alcohol inks, metallic clay pigments, gold dust, paint, and a lot more!

Also, each participant is assured of one raffle prize. So please do come on Saturday. Instructions and pictures will be emailed to those who can't attend but I think it may be harder to follow as compared to the live class.
