Going Fancy....

Here goes my first post for the Fancy Pants Design Team! I used Pencil Lines Sketch 215 for this layout where we have the talented Jennifer Matott as our guest designer and sketch artist . Most of the stuff you see here is from Fancy Pants "Love Bird Collection" (except for the kraft cardstock and grid stamps). You recognize those felt embellies? I'm glad I kept my stash. I really like to use those to add dimension.

 

This second one features the "Hot Chocolate" line. I made this one for the Pocket Chick Pick. I chose Melissa Samuels layout from the Facebook gallery. Be sure to upload you Fancy Pants layouts there and you may have your layout chosen and featured in the blog!

A couple of sketches...

Hi! Sharing some sketches with you today. I am this month's guest designer over at "GET PICKY" - a new site providing creative challenges for multi-photo layouts. They have some really nice sketches and a fab design team. Here is the sketch and my take on it.

7 Gypsies Weekend Inspiration at Aussie Scrapsource

This is a page I created with a mix of old and not so new products from 7 Gypsies. I have most of their papers and embellishments. The designs are classic and will never go out of trend. I guess I really am a Gypsy girl at heart.

Trick Or Treat 2010 Mini Album (updated with winner)

Hi! First of all, I would like to thank Little Yellow Bicycle for sending me the complete line of their BooVille collection. I made this mini album using the products they have generously provided.

My two daughters were dressed as fairies and princesses this year. Fairies during the 1st attempt (cause Cheska was sick), and princesses at our second take at trick or treating.

Since I'm all done with this year's halloween pics, I'd like to give the remaining products from my BooVille kit to one blogger. Just leave a comment here about what was your favorite trick or treat costume and I will draw one random winner on November 12 (Friday). The winner will get BooVille patterned papers, a Journal Tablet, tags and pocket, Lace Cut cardstock, and some stickers.

Hi Iris, Nice mini-album. For costume, i like anything esp if it's not scary or devil. This year my son wore spiderman costume. For girls, my favorite is angel costume.

Project Team Ewan

I recently had the opportunity to contribute to a project that would help raise funds for the care of children who have congenital heart defects. This project was organized by the talented and big hearted Melissa Elsner. She has announced the the entire class kit is now up for sale. For more information on how to obtain a copy of your Project Team Ewan Class Package, click HERE. This takes you to the page on the blog. 

100% of the money raised from this project is going directly to Seattle Children's Hospital and research that will help further care for children who have congenital heart defects.
