Martha Stewart at Aussie Scrap Source

I have one big love affair with Martha Stewart Punchers. I use it to dress up my pages and add texture. A few sheets of patterned paper are transformed into beautiful shapes by these punchers.

When Aussie Scrap Source asked me to design with Martha Stewart products, I thought I was only going to be playing with punchers... to my surprise, Martha Stewart came up with these beautiful delicate gem encrusted vellum butterflies! It was a beauty in its own, but I glammed it up further by rubbing different coloured inks on the wings to create these colourful winged beauties adorning my page.

 

Weekend Inspiration at Aussie Scrapsource

Little Yellow Bicycle is the featured manufacturer at Aussie Scrapsource for this weekend. Here are two pages I made for this post.

Because the papers of the Elizabeth line had so much to offer, I chose to cut-out the patterns and use it to embellish this happy colourful page of my two daughters enjoying a day out in the sun with their pink bike. This collection also has the cutest ready-made embellishments, like the colourful bunting and the 3d butterflies.

"Lawn Party" Studio Calico May Kit

Hi there! I have been tied to my work area for days... one more project and I'll get to relax a bit before I leave for my classes in Indonesia this May 22 to 25. If you are in Indonesia and you'd like to join us, check this LINK.

Ok so now I'm back to share with you the "Lawn Party" kit from Studio Calico. Of course, I get my kits from Scrappin Studio ( a kit club offering Studio Calico kits for us in Asia). I would not normally post these many layouts in one go, but I just want to show you how much you can actually get from one kit and how far you can go in creating with it.

I used the main kit here with a few items thrown in from the add-on kits...

That's quite a lot huh? I was really happy with this month's kit. The paper and embellishment selection was really well put together! My favorite SC kit to date.

Webster's Pages and Tim Holtz Alterations Die

It's time again for our Guest Designer Inspiration at Webster's Pages and for this month, we have the amazing Nadia Cannizzo!We all love her style. She is a genius with layers and with mixing elements to create gorgeous pages. Here is my contribution... a layout inspired by Nadia's romantic whimsical style.

I used a mixture of Hollywood Vogue, Sweet Season, and Ladies and Gents papers here.

I love this dress form die from Tim Holtz alterations. Thanks goes to Yellow Violet House for this beautiful beautiful die! Isabel you have such an eye for selecting really good dies! If you are a scrapper from Manila, you have to go check her collection.

Altered Wooden Box

A few weeks ago, Isabel of The Yellow Violet House gave me a beautiful wooden box with a little surprise - a small wooden birdhouse. I took out my Webster's Pages Spring Market papers and set to work to transform the wooden box into this...

and it opens to this...

I used a lot of the Spring Market papers from Webster's Pages, some Prima Flowers, and ofcourse my Tim Holtz alterations dies came in handy once again. I also used the  Webster's Unity stamps to emboss the gold images in the box.

Check out the new dies that came in at Yellow Violet House. You may just find a few that you just got to add to your collection.
