Prima and The Color Room Palette #23

We are slowly going back to our normal crazy schedule now that my Dad is getting better. We came home yesterday and as much as I loved being very near my Dad (we all stayed at a hotel next to the hospital), I sure did miss my room and my old reliable desktop computer. Anyway, here are a couple of pages I'd like to share with you...

This first one is for The Color Room, palette #23 where I used a lot of Prima Goodies. The edges of the paper were stamped with and old set of Wood Mounted Stamper's Anonymous Rubber Stamps and was inked and painted over...

My little Sleepy Head Cheska... she woke up in the middle of her sleep and thinking that we were all asleep.. she headed off to her favorite hiding place.. the cabinet! Good thing I caught her doing the act and was able to snap a picture of her. Love that startled look on her face...

 

Next one is a layout I made for the September GDT Lift over at Webster's Pages. Our Guest for this month is the amazing Christine Middlecamp! I used the new "Sweet Season" papers from Webster's Pages here...

The Color Room Palette #18

We are back at "His Room" for this week and I just love this color palette...

 

Here is my take on the palette.

 

A fun mix of products from K and Co, Pink Paislee, Jenni Bowlin, 7 Gypsies, Studio Calico, Creative Imagination, WRMK, Daisy Bucket (thanks Pia!) and a beautiful wood mounted stamp from Stamper's Anonymous (thanks Nette!).

New Webster's and New Color Palette

Hi everyone!!!

It's been a busy busy week for me and I am happy to be able to share a few things I have been working on lately...

First up is the bright new color palatte at THE COLOR ROOM. We are back at "His Room" and I just love the combination of the bright colors.

The Color Room - Palette # 12

Palette #12 is up at The Color Room. This palette is very rich and dramatic. A bit scary for me to work on at first but I loved the end result.

Big News and a couple of layouts

The New Prima Design Team has been announced! Congratulations to everyone who made it. Check out who made it to the 2010-2011 Prima Design Team HERE.

And lastly, here is the 2nd layout I created for Paper Tree House Kit Club (June Kit). The goodies for the July kit have started to arrive at The Paper Tree House. Watch out for the sneaks soon!

Lovely "Shapes"

Hi everyone!  I really love the colors and patterns of  Lily Bee Designs "Lovely" collection and I have been thinking of ways to be able to use my scraps. I thought it would be fun to cover my chipboard shapes with these papers. Another great way to use your scraps would be to create patterns and embellishments with it using your die-cuts.

Here is one layout I made of my youngest daughter Cheska about her love for her Tigger.

The leaves and birdhouse shapes were created using Sizzix Bigz Dies which I got from Yellow Violet House. The bird is part of the Tim Holtz Caged Bird Die.

I use the color palette number 7 at The Color Room for inspiration for this page. Hope you can join us this week!

Hi everyone! Palette #6 at The Color Room is up. Here is my take. I made this layout for my friend Gigi - whose son "Minco" is such a sweet and wonderful boy.

Papers & stickers: My Little Yellow Bicycle (Family Paper Tablet)

And here is my layout for Pencil Lines sketch #187

This layout is about my daughter Nicole and Gigi's youngest son "Gage". They have become really good friends! They were making some ice-cream clay creations here for us.

TCR #5 and Harmonie

Harmonie sent me some samples of their beautiful papers and embellishments. Thank you so much Harmonie. I was so pleased when I saw Palette # 5 which we were going to work on at The Color Room! It was a perfect match in color with the papers and embellishments that Harmonie sent me.

Here is the layout I made with Harmonie papers and embellishments. The bird cage and clock stamp is also from Harmonie. I love the bird which is actually a wood embellishment.
