I was asked to do a technique for the Tattered Angels Paint System for Aussie Scrap Source recently. I know that there are a lot of canvas projects for Tattered Angels already so I thought of showing how this line of mists and glazes work on wood...
This 6x6 wood panel with easel stand is a product of Yellow Violet House (Manila) and was just perfect for the project I had in mind...
Wood was primed with gesso and misted with several colors of Tattered Angels Chalkboard and Glimmer Mists.
Texture was created using a mixture of gesso and glass bead gels over a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop.
... painted with glazes and glimmer glams from Tattered Angels...
If you would like to see a short tutorial on how I created this, please check the feature over at Aussie Scrapsource Blog.
Scrappin Studio just sent me my July Studio Calico Main kit "Mind The Gap" and I made these three layouts tonight while scrapping with some friends...
Thanks to my friend Angela Lauchengco for the title!:)
Vintage Car and Weathered Clock (courtesy of Yellow Violet House) are die-cut shapes from Tim Holtz & Sizzix dies, Laser-cut flourish chipboards are from Dusty Attic.
This one is a favorite of mine...1. because I love the pictures here. Cheska was desperately trying to copy her Dad's moves but since she was so small it was impossible for her to do so. So cute! 2. because my friend Angela lent me her beautiful Martha Stewart puncher (I gotta have this one!), and 3. because Angela came up with the amazing title for my layout! Thanks Angella! Till next time! haha
Butterflies and key are die-cut shapes from Tim Holtz & Sizzix dies, Laser-cut clock chipboard and stamp is from Dusty Attic.
Butterfly, birdcage, and frame die-cut shapes are from Tim Holtz & Sizzix dies, Laser-cut label is from Dusty Attic.
I say this every month... but I will say it again... Kit clubs are great for quick and easy scrapping. Studio Calico is one of the best in the industry and those in Asia can now get their kits faster through Scrappin Studio. Click here to subscribe.
It's always an adventure for me whenever I design a page for Lily Bee. I am an embellishment and hand cutting patterned paper Junkie... but I am addicted to Lily Bee.. why? Because it is a perfect match for my dies!! The patterns are just the right size for you to see it even in intricately cut shapes such as the clock here. And the colors blend in so beautifully that all you need are scraps of Lily Bee papers and a few of your favorite dies or paper shapers to create detailed and embellishment filled Lily Bee pages.
All papers are from Lily Bee "This and That" and "Picket Fence" collection. Tim Holtz dies used here totals to SIX dies! Clock, flower, film strip, houses, butterflies, man with umbrella. Thanks to Yellow Violet House for my new dies!

It's time again for our Guest Designer Inspiration at Webster's Pages and for this month, we have the amazing Nadia Cannizzo! We all love her style. She is a genius with layers and with mixing elements to create gorgeous pages. Here is my contribution... a layout inspired by Nadia's romantic whimsical style.
I used a mixture of Hollywood Vogue, Sweet Season, and Ladies and Gents papers here.
I love this dress form die from Tim Holtz alterations. Thanks goes to Yellow Violet House for this beautiful beautiful die! Isabel you have such an eye for selecting really good dies! If you are a scrapper from Manila, you have to go check her collection.

A few weeks ago, Isabel of The Yellow Violet House gave me a beautiful wooden box with a little surprise - a small wooden birdhouse. I took out my Webster's PagesSpring Market papers and set to work to transform the wooden box into this...
and it opens to this...
I used a lot of the Spring Market papers from Webster's Pages, some Prima Flowers, and ofcourse my Tim Holtz alterations dies came in handy once again. I also used the Webster's Unity stamps to emboss the gold images in the box.
Check out the new dies that came in at Yellow Violet House. You may just find a few that you just got to add to your collection.
As promised, here are the layouts I was able to create from the Kits De Somni March Kit. I have been asked a few times how I work with kit projects (since I like to add a lot of embellishments) without having to buy several add-on kits... my answer - "I use my dies"!
You can see in the detail shots here that I used several dies here to cut chipboard and patterned paper. It really helps to add a lot of dimension and additional design elements to my pages.
That's the most I can probably make from one kit till I call it quits. Echo Park Little Girl line is so adorable and so perfect for the photos of my two girls. I made these 7 pages during a crop at Lasting Impression...

We are having a Christmas Countdown over at Aussie Scrapsource. Check out the Christmas projects being posted there.
I created this Christmas themed birdcage using only one sheet of glittered paper from the Anna Griffin Cecile collection plus Anna Griffin Calisto stickers. The paper came in a cream color with gold glitter. I just added distress inks on Fired Brick and Mustard seed to add color to the paper which was then used to cover the roof of the Twiddleybitz birdcage, and to create the pretty paper roses.
I used a sizzix bigz die to make the paper roses. Special thanks to Yellow Violet House for the die!
