Hi everyone!
Your kit will contain 6 sheets of paper from October Afternoon Farmhouse, and six sheets of papers from Webster's Pages Sunday Picnic. Some (or should I say most) of the papers will be hand-cut. Here is a rough sketch of the items that you will need to cut from the papers.
The partial kit is already available for pick up at the Lasting Impression Store. You can pick up your kits and pre-cut the papers if you like, or you can go early on Saturday to do this.
The class will start at 11:00 a.m. sharp (please make arrangements for your food already since we will be a big class and it will be hard to manage the food orders and at the same time conduct the class). You can come in as early as 9:00 a.m. and that will give you enough time to cut the papers. The sample layouts will be there also so you can have a clearer picture of what to cut from the papers.
1. Cut two houses and one tree
2. Cut the bloooms. In three separate parts
3. Cut the big bicycle first before cutting the rest of the items at the back side.
also please be careful with the word strips. we will cut those into strips and use as embellishments also. example:
4. Cut the big picnic basket first before cutting the other items. You will need 5 baskets and three bottles
4. Cut the rainbow and the blooms in three separate parts.
5. Cut the table with the chair, basket, and bottles. Then cut the other two chairs.
There will be a total of five layouts for the kit. Four out of the five will be technique heavy. Our goal is to finish at least three layouts. The fourth layout, we will just do the background and you can finish it at home. The fifth layout can be done at home.
Please come on time. I will go through all the techniques at one time and then we will work on the layouts one by one. As I said the pages are technique heavy so you may have a hard time catching up if you come in late.
Also please note that the original layouts have a few Dusty Attic pieces in it. Your class kit will not have the DA pieces because it will make the kits very expensive. But we will have alternative die-cut embellishments to it if you wish to add a little more.
Please do no forget to bring extra buttons, flowers (optional - the pages will still look complete even without actual flowers), and five extra cardstocks for the backing of your pages. Refer to the kist below for the list of items to bring.
Do not be absent! I have some nice RAKS to give-away... new CHA stuff from Hambly and BasicGrey. There won't be enough for everyone though, but those who will be lucky to get the few ones that I have to share will be really happy:) Raffle for those physically present only.
Thanks!
