Crate's Paper Doll Collection is so fun to work with. I made this layout for Visual Creations and I used the new Paper Doll collection from Crate Paper and the crossword puzzle wood mounted stamp of Hero Arts...

also, color Palette #3 is up at The Color Room!

Here is my take on the color challenge. Hope to see you there!

I used a die-cut sheet from My Little Yellow Bicycle, some old Basic Grey paper, creative Imagination journaling papers, a sizzix die for the film strip frame, Magic Mesh, AC thickers, Maya Road bird and branch, Prima butterfly, and a cute cute wood mounted Bicycle stamp from Hero Arts.

Can you see the white polka dots in the background? I used the Tim Holtz texture stamps and heat embossed the image with white embossing powder.

Snuggle Bug...(UPDATED WITH WINNER)

is probably one of the cutest sweetest yummiest baby lines I have ever worked with! My Little Yellow Bicycle always comes up with beautiful baby line scrapbook products, and their latest for me is their greatest ever!

It is so easy to create pages with Snuggle Bug because it is so complete! Papers, die-cuts, overlays, stickers, rub-ons, chipboard shapes, fabric embellishments, epoxy stickers... there is just so much!

Here is a layout about Cheska being a cute musician. Love how she blows her horn! Look!

This next layout is for Nicole. I took these photos of her on Easter Sunday during the Easter Egg Hunt at Tagaytay Highlands. Such a cutie bunny...

 

 

And finally, my favorite layout so far. Cheska loves this spot... the space right under my chair. This is the chair I have by my desk.. where I scrapbook, surf, edit photos, etc. Needless to say, I spend a lot of time on this chair, and she does too... under it:)

  All materials used are from My Little Yellow Bicycle Snuggle Bug Line (except for the white and kraft cardstock; and the paper clip, flowers, and the letters used in "Down Under".

sorry for the short post. I just came home cause the kids and I spent a few days at my Mom's house while my husband Bryan was away for a business trip. That also explains why I have been MIA for a few days now. Thank you for all the sweet comments you have left here in my blog. Will catch up with you guys soon!

taken from "his room"... when I first saw this color palette I thought to myself.. pass, pass, pass. But they, why not try something different. Turns out, I enjoyed creating with these colors. You should try it too..

The Graduate

My daughter Nicole is only 5 years old but their pre-school celebrated their graduation in style... complete with toga and all.

I was such a proud mom because Nicole delivered the welcome speech in English (there was also a Chinese, and Filipino version). During the awarding ceremonies, we were surprised when her name was called out for the best in speech award! This is such an achievement for her considering how shy and insecure she was when she first started school. Nicole really worked hard, but more than that, it was really the teachers in her school that was instrumental in her growth and improvement. I will always be grateful to Teachers Au, Linda, Venessa, and Maryann, as well as to Mrs. Tan the school head who had so much faith in my daughter.

I am thrilled to be part of the design team for The Color Room. Each month, there will be four color palettes with an optional sketch. You can create whatever you wish as long as you use the colors in the palette. I have to warn you that it can be totally addictive. I started with just two color palettes for the month but have gone on to creating for all four! You will enjoy it.

I forgot to post this layout I made for Cheska where I used the new Lullaby Lane collection of Webster's pages. This is probably one of the best baby collections I have ever seen.
