My daughter Nicole is only 5 years old but their pre-school celebrated their graduation in style... complete with toga and all.
I was such a proud mom because Nicole delivered the welcome speech in English (there was also a Chinese, and Filipino version). During the awarding ceremonies, we were surprised when her name was called out for the best in speech award! This is such an achievement for her considering how shy and insecure she was when she first started school. Nicole really worked hard, but more than that, it was really the teachers in her school that was instrumental in her growth and improvement. I will always be grateful to Teachers Au, Linda, Venessa, and Maryann, as well as to Mrs. Tan the school head who had so much faith in my daughter.
