Hi everyone! I just finished putting together another fun kit for Lasting Impression. The kit includes papers from Pink Paislee's Spring Jubille & Amy Tangerine. You will find a picture of the kit below.
In the mean time, I am sharing here two out of the five layouts I made with the kit. Everything used here was from the kit except for a few large buttons, the stamps, and the distress inks and mists used.
1. Choose To Shine
To create the watercolor splatter effect on the background, you will first need to mist your white cardtsock with a yellow mist. Then let this dry. You then take a few colors of distress inks and directly "pound" the foam dabber directly on your paper. The ink will immediately splatter on your paper. If your paper is wet then the ink will wick until it dries. So if you want a sharp splatter effect, make sure that your paper is dry.
The tiny splatters were created from tapping the paint brush tip of two colors of Tattered Angels Glaze paint on top of the cardstock. Give it a good 6 or more inches of space between your paint brush and your paper when you tap the paint brush. You will get varied sizes of splatters.
The dimensional dots here were created using the Ranger Liquid Pearls.
2. She's Got Spunk
Same distress ink splatter technique here. For the doodled edges I used a black fine permanent pen to create lines, hearts, etc. The stamped images and quotes are from the Technique Tuesday "Loving Words" by Ali Edwards Stamp, and the Pink Paislee "Daily Junque" clear stamp set.
Banners were hand cut from the Pink Paislee Papers.
Here is a picture of the kit...
For those in Manila, if you want to get a kit just contact Lasting Impression at https://www.facebook.com/lastingimpressionph.
I will be posting three more layouts tomorrow. If you have any questions regarding the layouts you can post it here and I will do my best to come and check often to answer your questions. This will have to do for now till I get to set up my video cam.
Thanks for your visit!
