BasicGrey "Kioshi" and "Plumeria"

It will be CHA again soon and once again we will be drooling over the new BasicGrey releases. I thought of making a pre-CHA review post here of the recent releases. Sharing with you first a few layouts from "Kioshi" 

... and Plumeria

and here is one more "Plumeria" layout that I just finished tonight. Had a go with my new silhouette again and cut the butterfly and flower strip. Layered lots of gesso, glass bead gels, mists, Pan Pastels, Distress stains, and Inka Gold here as well. Chipboard pieces are by Dusty Attic.

Goodbye Hambly...

I'm sure most of you have already heard that Hambly Screen Prints have closed. This was such sad news to the entire design team, and now to the entire scrapbooking community. I have loved Hambly for years because it carries such a unique product and mediums for crafters... premium grade overlays among others. The fact that it is all silk screen printed makes it an even more unique item.

The girls at the design team planned on a goodbye hop. I was signed up for it but unfortunately I have been out for some teaching trips and did not get the details before I left. So I'm saying my goodbye now, and sharing with you a few of my recent Hambly layouts...the ones that have not yet been posted, and the ones that are among my favorites...

I want to extend my gratittude to Allison Kreft and to the management of Hambly for a wonderful experience. I still have a lot of their products in my stash as I have been hoarding them for years. I will definitely continue to use those in my projects. Hambly.... you will be sorely missed :(
